Craig Owen Satterthwaite Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Craig Owen Satterthwaite of Layton, Utah, who passed away on March 5, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Duane V Satterthwaite and Alicia Satterthwaite; and his siblings, Lane, Loy, Kerry and Valee.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Satterthwaite; his children, Lori Jacobs, Marni Owens-Wahlquist (Korin), Tami James, Devan Wahlquist (Daniel) and Bret Satterthwaite; and his siblings, Eric Satterthwaite (Kay), Shawn Satterthwaite (Jill), Lisa Leavitt (Mike) and RaShele Cook (David).
He was cancer-free by December and was able to return to calling until Covid shut down square dancing, in 2021 he was diagnosed with Myelodysplastic Syndrome caused by chemotherapy drugs he had taken in 2014.
