With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Darian Jafar Shamsa of Layton, Utah, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 11, 2026 at the age of 22. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Darian may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Darian touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He is survived by: his parents, Farzin Shamsa and Michelle Shamsa; his siblings, Tala, Sheyenne and Kion; and his significant other Diana Castro.
