He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Elgaaen and Margaret Elgaaen; his brother Richard; and his stepson Leo Yocum. He is survived by: his friend Marlene Mecham Yocum; his wife Marlene Elgaaen; his children, Rachel Elgaaen Kerksiek and Michael Elgaaen (Lanette); his stepchildren, Joshua, Bryce, Jana and Stacy; and his siblings, Ellen Jensen, Naomi Kimbell (Craig), Julia Bradshaw (Reid), Patricia Ransom (Joel), Arlene Anderson, Kristi Elgaaen, Donna Westergard, Becky Allen (Dean) and Shawn Elgaaen (Christine). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 22 step grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter.
