She was predeceased by : her parents, Beverly Jean Livingston and Kenneth Mitchell; her former life partner David Palmer; and her close friend Elizabeth Atkinson. She is survived by : her siblings, Arlene Bilbao and Blaine Mitchell; her children, Christopher Yancey (Mary), Phillip Yancey (Wendy), Ryan Yancey, Jason Yancey (Jennifer) and Monica Yancey (Paul); her stepchildren, Iris, Max, Ashley and Sarah; her grandchildren, Ashley, Taylor, Austin, Ryan, Caleb, Camden, Keaton, Kody, Benjamin, Samuel, Timothy, Emily, Nicholas, Melody, Simon and Mathilda; her former life partner Robert Olin Yancey; and her sister Carolyn Parcell. She is also survived by her children and grandchildren, her siblings, her nieces and nephews.
She was an event planner with the Mormon Historic Sites Foundation (now known as the Ensign Peak Foundation) and worked tirelessly to create special events honoring the lives of the LDS community pillars, such as Richard Lyman Bushman.
