Elaine Maw Deru Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elaine Maw Deru of Layton, Utah, who passed away on July 9, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert Enoch Maw and Grace Brown Maw; her sisters, DeLora and LaRee; and her husband Donald Joseph Deru.
She is survived by: her sons, Terry (Seletha), Curt (Denise), Bret (Jodi), Scott (Teresa) and Jeff (Pat). She is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 64 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Lindquist's Layton Mortuary (1867 N Fairfield Rd, Layton, UT 84041). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lindquist's Memorial Park (1867 N Fairfield Rd, Layton, UT 84041).
