He was predeceased by: his parents, Elliott B. Hampton and Mary Isabella Mackay; his sister Lorraine Frazier; his brothers-in-law, Bud Frazier and Norman Compton (Comp); his daughters-in-law, Cindy Hampton and Janet Hampton; and his grandson Mathew Hampton.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Mary Walker; and his siblings, Virginia Kendall and Larry Hampton (Judy). He is also survived by 22 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 9th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Lindquist's Layton Mortuary (1867 N Fairfield Rd, Layton, UT 84041). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
