She is survived by: her stepdaughter Grace Akpan; her daughter Victoria Buchanan (Bart Buchanan); her granddaughters, Alivia and Zoie; and her siblings, Vincent Okon, Akon Okon and Imabong Edede Akpan. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
