We announce the death of Gibson Jp (Layton, Utah), who passed away on June 25, 2026, at the age of 16. Gibson will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his grandfather David Gibson; and his cousin Crosby Bowen. He is survived by: his parents, Joshua Gibson and Megan Gibson of Layton, UT; his siblings, Elsie and Theo; and his grandparents, Sherri Gibson of St. George, UT, Kelly and Shelley Hannig of Saratoga Springs, UT. He is also survived by great-grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, we ask that friends bring smaller Lego sets and/or skeins of yarn to his services.
