He was predeceased by : his parent Sherie Goold Smith; and his grandparents, Lee, Maurine Goold, Reed and Ardis Smith.

He is survived by : his father Gordon R. Smith (Sherie); his wife Jodie Smith; his children, Nathan Hamblin (Lisa), Nicholas Hamblin (Rebecca) and Autumn Hess; and his siblings, Kimberlee Haberkorn (Dave), Christena Palmer (Jason), Lee Smith (Tara) and Lindsie Smith (Chris Jennings). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren.
