She was predeceased by : her close friend Kathy Morel; and her sister Dede. She is survived by : her children, David, Rick Morel and Trisha Backus; her grandchildren, Bre Shanklin (Alec), Kristta Backus (Cliff), Will Backus (Brandi) and Brandon Backus (Anna); her great grandchildren, Cohen, Sawyer, Bridger and Halston; and her pet Nacho.
