He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Taylor and Elaine Taylor; his brother Brent; and his niece Jeannine. He is survived by: his wife Joan Hardy; his children, Jared Taylor (Brooke) of Idaho Falls, ID and Leslie Whitehead (Jeremy) of Kaysville, UT; his grandchildren, Halle, Dallas, Alyssa, Drake, London, Libby and Grace; his sister Sha Brammer (Jim); and his sister-in-law Carla Taylor (Brent).
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Lindquist's Layton Mortuary (1867 N Fairfield Rd, Layton, UT 84041). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. During the COVID-19 pandemic and as his mobility declined, he continued to participate faithfully in church services via livestream and regularly watched Music and the Spoken Word.
