Kerry leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Kerry’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Kerry will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hideo Miya and Betty Miya. He is survived by: his wife Vicki Hodgman; his children, Troy Miya (Carolina) and Tracy Call (Scott); and his brother Ed Miya (Jayme). He is also survived by his three grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the Book Hotel Lindquist's Layton Mortuary (1867 N Fairfield Rd, Layton, UT 84041). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Lindquist's Layton Mortuary (1867 N Fairfield Rd, Layton, UT 84041).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Huntsman Cancer Institute, an organization close to Kerry's heart.
