She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Lewis Burghardt and Vadrus Joyce Bodily (Duane Wall); her brother Ed Burghardt; her son Joshua Goldston Watkins; her daughter-in-law Donna Watkins (Paxton); and her granddaughter Hunter Brittney Watkins.

She is survived by: her husband Greg Watkins; her children, Jacob B. (Trichelle), Luke (Nancy), Katey Wells (Jim), Matthew and Caleb (Tressa); and her siblings, Annette Reynolds (Kenneth), Lydia Eaton (Brent), Anita Ashmed (Lon), Laurie Sorensen (James McDowell), Barbara Madsen (Robert), Bonnie Holt (Ron), Nancy Harrison and Marvin Burghardt (Sheila). She is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren.
