He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Barber and Katie Barber; his wife Colleen Gloria Chytraus; his former spouse Guyla Peterson; his brother Ramon Barber; his son David Barber; his father-in-law Lennard Victor Chytraus (Tessie Strong); and his brother-in-law Edward Chytraus (Bonnie).
He is survived by: his daughters, Christy Barber, Janice Barber and Susan Barber; his grandchildren, Crystal Henriksen (Jordan), Dustin Hight (Angie), Brad Hight (Trish), Neil Hight (Rachael), Christina Linke and Jeremy M. Richards; his stepchildren, Becky (Janet), Jim, Pete and Wendy; his sibling's children, Julie Duran (John), Randy Barber (Pam) and Jeff Barber (Selene); his sister-in-law Donna Dalebout (Paul); and his sibling's children, Liz Nelson (Tad), Steven Chytraus (Sandy) and Michael Chytraus (Michelle). He is also survived by many great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
