He was predeceased by: his parents, Laron Donald Bright and Anna Mae Weeks; his siblings, Lonny Bright and Tami Silvester; his grandson Ian Bright-Jones; his brother-in-law Doug Smedley; his stepfather Clifford Rudd; and his parents-in-law, Virginia Neville and E. Eldon Green.
He is survived by: his children, Trevor (Amanda), Shanna, Danielle (Hayden), Tori (Stephen), Skyler and Brianna; his grandchildren, Ryan (Kamilla), Ryker, Caden, Matthew, Brody, Chloe, Kaylee, Katie, Erin Noelle and Aubrey; his sisters, Beverly (Dearl) and Mindy (Michael); and his stepfather Herbert Brandt.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Lindquist's Layton Mortuary (1867 N Fairfield Rd, Layton, UT 84041). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
