He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Porter and Gwendolyn Morgan Porter; his wife Sheron Heiner; his children, Susand and Perry; his daughter-in-law Jenifer Porter; and his sister Brenda Porter Ehlers.
He is survived by: his children, Kimlyn Porter, Mitch Porter (Sandy), Kerry Porter (Joni) and Kyle Porter; and his siblings, Kaylene Purcell and Duane Porter. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Morgan Stake Center (355 N 700 E, Morgan, UT 84050).
