He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Porter and Gwendolyn Morgan Porter; his wife Sheron Heiner; his children, Susand and Perry; his daughter-in-law Jenifer Porter; and his sister Brenda Porter Ehlers.

He is survived by: his children, Kimlyn Porter, Mitch Porter (Sandy), Kerry Porter (Joni) and Kyle Porter; and his siblings, Kaylene Purcell and Duane Porter. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers Lyle would love for you to take your family out to dinner and tell them how much they are loved.
