He was predeceased by: his parents, Golden Amos Layton and Julia Ophelia Smith Layton. He is survived by: his brother Dean Smith Layton (JoEllen); his friend Joy Petro; Chelsey Petro Higuera (Ray Higuera).
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (2120 W Gentile St, Layton, UT 84041).
