He is survived by: his wife Mary Del Gatto Battista; his children, Salvatore Anthony Battista Jr., Paul Battista (Michelle Battista) and Maria Thorpe (Stephen Thorpe); his grandchildren, Michael Battista, Sara Elizabeth Battista, Laura Battista-Christensen (Hayden Christensen), Maria Foxley (Thomas Foxley), Anna Jacobson (Jalen Jacobson), Jenny Hamby (Seth Hamby) and Mary Moulton (Zachary Moulton); and his sisters, Dolores Battista Celano and Angeline Battista Knapton. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
