He was predeceased by: his parents, Snell Olsen and Lorraine Olsen; and his brother Kirk Olsen. He is survived by: his daughters, Mary Lorraine, Angela Katrina and Kari Joseph; his wife Mary Carol Olsen; his children, Matthew, Jim and Lexi Olsen; and his siblings, Michele Boyack, Scott Olsen, Janean Thomas, Jedd Olsen and Jennifer Olsen.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, July 5th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the LDS Heritage Chapel (725 S 200 E, Layton, UT 84041). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, July 5th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Spanish Fork City Cemetery (420 S 400 E, Spanish Fork, UT 84660).
His favorite scripture was Moroni 10:20: "Wherefore, there must be faith; and if there must be faith there must also be hope; and if there must be hope there must also be charity.".
