He was predeceased by: his parents, David S. Powell and Verla Wittwer Powell; his sister Jana Young; and his siblings-in-law, Robert Rudman, Nadine Powell and K'Lene Powell.
He is survived by: his son Lance Powell; his wife Kathy; his son Link; his stepchildren, Jason Hintze (LaDawn) and Kristin Hintze; and his siblings, David, Kenny, Gary (Joan), Sandy Fausett (Alan) and Shirley Rudman. He is also survived by four grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; and eight step-great-grandchildren, plus many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Hurricane City Cemetery (E 600 N, Hurricane, UT 84737).
