It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bette Lou Brooks Walker (Lehi, Utah), who passed away on September 9, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arreva May Gurney Brooks and Charles William Brooks; her husband Lorin Dale Walker; her children, Sherry Lou Walker Flewallen (Steven) and Terry Dale Walker; her daughter-in-law Susan Carter Walker; her grandson Brevin Jed Harris; and her siblings, Gloria Brooks Hunter Lawton and Charles Robert Brooks.
She is survived by: her sons, Perry Brooks Walker, Larry Lorin Walker (Jeanne) and Barry Charles Walker. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren.
Dale and Bette Lou were honored for their contributions to Lehi by being selected as the Grand Marshalls of Lehi's Roundup Days in 2001 and were also honorees of the Lehi Historical Society's "Lehi Walk of Fame" in 2015.
