He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Fredrick Peterson and Zella Davis Peterson of Lehi, Utah.; his stepmother Zelta Nebeker; his sister Lavon Peterson; his sisters-in-law, Julie and Becky Peterson; his brother Davis Peterson; and his siblings-in-law, Albert and Claranell Day.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Day Peterson of Helper Utah; and his children, Leigh Ferre (Russ), Paul Peterson (Tiffany), Julie Smith (Colton) and Andy Peterson (Stacy).
