He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan Nielson and Phyllis Nielson. He is survived by: his wife Carol Gourley Nielson; his children, David Carl Nielson (Amy C. Nielson), Bruce L. Nielson (Julene Nielson), Sheila Ann Nielson and Amy Nielson Biesinger; and his siblings, Kay Nielson Elder and Brent Nielson (Gail Nielson). He is also survived by grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
