She was predeceased by: her parents, James Austin Gilbert and Madie Mair Gilbert; her stepfather Robert Ford; her son Grant Kay Hunsaker Jr.; and her brothers, Duane Gilbert, Rhoton Gilbert, Billie Gilbert, Dean Gilbert and Jack Gilbert.

She is survived by: her husband Grant Kay Hunsaker; and her children, Jeff (Keri), Gordan (Karrin) and Tim (DaraLyn). She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, and 27 great-grandchildren.
