He was predeceased by: his parents, Ole Andreas and Dorothy Winnard Berg; his wife Janice Carol Grider; and his brother Gary. He is survived by: his son John Michael Berg (Criste); his friend Reese Larsen (Barbara); his grandchildren, Jennie (Dustin Hebbert), Jared (Hannah Berg), Ashley (Blake Devereaux) and Adam Berg; his great grandchildren, Ivy, Gabriel, Maggie, Braylin and Amelia; his daughter Dawn Maureen (Kurt Vest); and his granddaughters, Lindsay, McKayla, Cassidy and Hailee.
