He was predeceased by: his parents, Royal Christian Hicks and Dora Hansen Hicks; his children, Vickie Hansen (Greg) and Don Carl Hicks; and his granddaughters, Kennarae Hicks and Krystal Dawn Hansen.
He is survived by: his children, Kenny Hicks, Joseph Hicks (Zella) and Debbie Bingham (Marc); and his daughter-in-law Vickie Hicks (Don Carl Hicks). He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren.
