He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas X Smith Jr. and Arvilla Allen; and his siblings, Thomas X Smith III, Barbara Hardy, Jean Miller, Allen Smith and Kristine McBride.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Harshbarger; his children, Todd Smith (Kimberly) of Cedar City, Kelly Smith (Jan) of Delta, Travis Smith (Angie) of American Fork, Susan Heaton (Jonathan) of Saratoga Springs, Bart Smith (JoLynn) of Lehi, Donald Smith (Deanna) of Orem, Tammy Orgill (Paul) of Lehi and Jason Smith (Jennie) of American Fork; and his siblings, Charmaine Ralphs of Idaho, Steve Smith (Arizona), David Smith (Utah) and Vaughn Smith (Arizona). He is also survived by 25 Grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (721 W 2100 N, Lehi, UT 84043). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
