He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Rudolph Hertig and Margaret Edla Bleazard; and his wife Jilleen Elaine Strong. He is survived by: his children, Anne McKinstry (Ryan), Bud (Allison), Molly Darcey (James), Tim (Tina Huang), Katie Gulbransen (Brian) and Danny (Chelsea); and his siblings, Mickee Roll, Nancy Rodriguez, Kathy Hertig, Ed and Jon. He is also survived by 26 grandchildren.
