She was predeceased by: her parents, Joshua Chidester and Ora Gurney Chidester; her husband Don Yates; and her siblings, Ann Turner and Ted Chidester.
She is survived by: her children, Alden, Doreen Barker (Paul), Tyler, Todd (Kim), Stacey Redford (Jim), Travis (Amanda) and Derek (Sarah); and her sisters, Kathryn Beratto and Louise Bowman. She is also survived by 27 grand-children, and 32 great grand-children.
Viewing was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Veterans Park Chapel (1125 W 300 N St, Lehi, UT 84043). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location.
