We announce the death of Rex Chester Wright (Lehi, Utah), who passed away on October 15, 2026, at the age of 83. He was predeceased by: his son David R. Wright; his parents, LaWana and Chester; and his brothers, Boyd and Cory.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Jameson Wright; his children, Derek Rex Wright (Jill), Nicole Korpi (Ryan), Kris Ann Grant (Sky), Travis Jameson Wright (Jenalyn) and Kelli Brooks (Micah); his sister Debbie Kokkola (Mike); and the father of his child Chester. He is also survived by twenty grandchildren and their spouses, and three great grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM and from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery (1950 Dimple Dell Ln, Sandy, UT 84092).
