Shirley Sue Scown Obituary

It is with sadness that the passing of Shirley Sue Scown (Lehi, Utah) is shared. Shirley, born on October 10, 1930, passed away on June 18, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Shirley will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honor Shirley by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Shirley is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Shirley’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Elton R. Smith and Lois R. Smith; her siblings, Russell (Maureen) and Linda (Joe); and her daughter Cathy.

She is survived by: her significant other Norman DeMile Scown; her sons, David and Michael; her grandson Simon Scown; and her friends, Jan Bateman and Susan Sundstrom. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Old Farm Recreation Center.
