He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas Peterson and Verda Peterson; and his son Matthew Thomas Peterson (Carol Peterson). He is survived by: his wife Carol Ann Haws; his siblings, LaNett Franchow (Dave) of South Jordan and Kurt Peterson (Deanne) of Hurricane; his children, Trissa Swank (Dusty) of Lehi, Tamara Myers of Salt Lake, Rebecca Chamberlain (Chris) of Spanish Fork, Luke Peterson (Katie) of Nephi, Malissa Jensen (Bryce) of Eagle Mountain, Beth Vincent (Dan) of Eagle Mountain and Jessica Rizzuto of Herriman; his grandchildren, Hailey Swank, Cassie Kuck, Kayla Stokes, Elizabeth Myers, Chase Chamberlain, Joshua Chamberlain, Brodee Peterson, Quincy Jensen, Emily Jensen, Jeremy Spradling, Andrew Moody, Danielle Moody, Brooklynn Moody, Harley Rizzuto and Alexandria Rizzuto; and his great grandchildren, Chaysen Kuck, Zanden Kuck and Haze Matthew Jewkes.
