Chollanna Pepper Estes Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Chollanna Pepper Estes (Lindon, Utah), born in Glendale, California, who passed away on May 19, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her son Steven; her parents, Gerald Averil Pepper and Viola Ardene Tyler; and her pets, Koa and Oro.

She is survived by: her children, Tony Estes (Kristy), Summer Balleck (Jeremy), Richard Estes (Amy), Jeremy Estes (Angie) and Darwin Estes (Sarah Jil); her grandchildren, Isaiah, Jadyn, Jennessa, Keyera (Jordan), Jeffrey, Dallin, Sariah, Spencer, Ashlie, Josef, Alexys and Noah; her great grandchildren, Cedar, Indy, LuElia, Rivie and Swayde; her siblings, Gerald "Buddy" Pepper, Michelle Stein (John) and Val Starr (Bud); and her friend Dennis Estes. She is also survived by nieces and nephews; and her former husband of over 30 years.

Viewing was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Utah Valley Mortuary (1966 W 700 N, Lindon, UT 84042). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Lehi City Cemetery (1100 N 400 E St, Lehi, UT 84043). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Lehi City Senior Center (123 N Center St, Lehi, UT 84043).

Though she battled Alzheimer's in her final years, Choy fought valiantly to hold on to her memories and her people.
