She was loved and cherished by many people including: her grandmother Sweetheart; her spouse Reg Garrett; her children, Cody (Diana), Casey, Nikki (Dallas), Ashli (Deven), Cade (Emily) and Reggie (Jessica); and her grandchildren, Jerrie Hurst (Lynn), Jody Murray, Joni Jensen (Robert), Teresa Wu, Amy Solum (Corey), Ralph Garrett, Ray Garrett (Milli), David Garrett (Coy), Debbie Phillips (Mike), Denece Jones (John) and Carmen Lujan (Vernon).

Due to restrictions from COVID-19 there will be a small gathering of immediate family for the funeral services on Monday, December 14, 2020.

“My dear friend, Colleen Garrett was my relief Society president when we moved to Alpine 18 years ago. She was the warmest and kindest person i could ever hope to meet. Colleen and i quickly became close friends and we began to walk together. We would get up early in the darkness of the morning and meet and walk and talk and share. She painted my toenails. She IS the example of a daughter of light who will light up Heaven. I will profoundly miss you my dear friend. I love you forever!!!”
