He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence William Clayson and Glora Hudson Clayson; his wife Orlene Mayberry Clayson; his daughter Janelle Durrant; and his sister Gaylia Moore.
He is survived by: his son-in-law John Durrant (Vickie); his children, Kyle Clayson (Vicky), Scott Clayson (Becki), Karla Peeples (Craig), Marilee Jepsen (Nolan) and Brett Clayson (Annie); and his sister Sheryl Herget.
