He was predeceased by: his parents, Finley Walton and Florence Hardy Roylance; and his siblings, Ann Ostergaard (Clark) and John. He is survived by: his wife Laurel Young; his children, Jason (Melissa), Holly Barney (Travis), Shane (Stacey), Melissa Hooton (Jason), Marc and Shannon Berry (Sebastian); and his brothers, Michael (Patricia) and Karl (Deann). He is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Viewing will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Hyrum East Stake Center (245 Apple Dr, Hyrum, UT 84319).
