It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christopher David Coates in Logan, Utah, who passed away on October 8, 2025, at the age of 47, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his sister Michelle. He is survived by: his parents, Max Coates and Cathy Coates of Millville, Utah; and his siblings, Chad Coates of Millville, UT, Nick Coates of Millville, UT, Becky (Russell), Winn of Smithfield, UT, Matthew Coates of Logan, UT, Heather (Jake), Hamblin, Jennifer (Tanner) and Brown of Sandy, UT. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Allen-Hall Mortuary (34 E Center St, Logan, UT 84321). Viewing was held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the Providence South Stake Center (360 E 450 N, Providence, UT 84332). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Logan City Cemetery (1000 N 1200 E, Logan, UT 84341).
