He was predeceased by: his parents, Heber Lee Hales and Lais Vernon; his daughter Carlee Hales; and his grandsons, Camden Hales and Damien McDougle.
He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, Kristine McDougle (Mike), Janene Zimmerman (Craig), Denise Burris (Calvin), Bonnie Nakamoto (Scott), Geoff Hales (Cindy) and Kevin Hales (Teri); and his sister Aldyth Ann Stalder (Dee). He is also survived by 23 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (715 Knob Hill Ave, Redondo Beach, CA 90277). A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 at 12:00 PM and at 2:00 PM at the Logan City Cemetery (1000 N 1200 E, Logan, UT 84341).
