In the vast expanse of eternity, Daphene shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Daphene farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Walter Strain and Ollie Elizabeth Dawson; her sister Belle; and her husband Robert Gordon. She is survived by: her children, Stan Gordon (Tomoko), Beth Freeman (Lonnie) and Heather Plowman (Doug). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and 23 great-grandchildren.
