With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hyrum Gary Niederhauser of Logan, Utah, who passed away on January 9, 2026 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Hyrum Niederhauser and Thelma Julia Cifford; his brother Delmont Niederhauser; and his brother-in-law Dean Prisbrey. He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Niederhauser; his children, Bonnie Harms (Jeffery) of Stone Mountain, GA, Nathan Niederhauser (Mariana Rosenthal) of Olympia, WA, Gavin Niederhauser (Melissa) of Smithfield, UT and Marissa Rae Niederhasuer of Seattle, WA.; his siblings, Bonnie Whatcott (Ross) of Riverton, UT, Janiel Prisbrey of North Ogden, UT, Saundra (Robert) and Terry Niederhauser (Erma) of Benjamin, UT.; and his children, Kjetil Granum, Thomas Granum and Katja Suding. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and 1 grand pet.
