She was predeceased by: her parents, James Edgar Birch and Veda Munk Birch; her husband Gordon Rigby; her brothers, Lowell Birch and Vincent Birch; and her great grandchild Kaleb Rigby.

She is survived by: her sons, Bruce (Karla), Alan (Leslie), Shawn (Kim), Scott (Jalyn) and Steven (Shelly). She is also survived by 25 grandchildren and 46 great-grandchildren.
