She was predeceased by: her parents, George J. Rasmussen and Lois F. Rasmussen; her husbands, Jim Merrrill and Charles McDonald; her siblings, Clair F. Rasmussen and Shirley Mae Haslam (ClaVel); and her grandson Corey James Mendenhall.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Garrett (Doug) of Kemmerer, Wyoming, Jeff Merrill (Tracy) of St. Maries, Idaho, David Merrill (Lynne) of North Logan, Utah and Julie Leavitt (Kip) of Orangeville, Utah; and her sister-in-law Eunice Merrill. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Hillcrest First Ward Chapel (875 N 1500 E, Logan, UT 84321). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
