He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Vit and Pearl Dolores Lee Vit; his siblings, Joseph Vit, Verna (Jewel Price), George Vit and Fred Vit (Arlene); his nephew Rod Price; his nephew-in-law Rex Fowers; and his close friend Tina Kobel.
He is survived by: his sons, Frank Vit, Jerad Vit and Justin Vit. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.
