She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Lyman Checketts and Lucia Wahlen Checketts; her close friend Raymond D. Hlavaty; her children, Lauri (Brad Sorenson), Scott (Michelle Sampson), Cathy (Ned Hansen) and Todd (Linette Bingham); and her brother Brent Checketts (Sheila Ray). She was also cherished by her 13 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren.
