She was predeceased by: her parents, Elizabeth Ruth Horton Benson and Serge Nelson Benson; and her sisters, Sergene Bennion and Donna Edlefsen. She is survived by: her children, Jacqueline Whitaker of Brigham City, Cynthia Perkins (Randy) of Slidell, Angela Hoffmann (Brett) of Logan, Carolyn Anderson (Troy) of West Jordan, Melinda Whitaker of Rexburg, James Whitaker of Fairfax, William Whitaker (Karen Ellison) of Holladay and Christina Robinson (Andrew) of Williamson; and her siblings, Ruth Lehenbauer, Serge Benson (Peggy) of St and Jan Benson (Sherree) of Logan, Utah. She is also survived by 31 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Attendance will be in full compliance with the State of Idaho regulations for social distancing to help control the spread of the Coronavirus. Attendance is restricted to 50 people and is by invitation only because of Coronavirus.
