It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Reid Herd (Logan, Utah), who passed away at the age of 72, on October 7, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Robert J Herd; his son Timothy Reid Herd; and his great grandchild Millie Watterson. He is survived by: his wife Karen; and his children, Ryan Herd (Jamie), Amy Griffin (Benjamin), Annette Hillyard (Corey), Alison Downs (Royce) and Brady Herd (Brittany). He is also survived by his five siblings; 18 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Allen Mortuary (420 E 1800 N, North Logan, UT 84341). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Meetinghouse (451 S 250 E, Smithfield, UT 84335).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the General Missionary Fund or Humanitarian Fund of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
