Val left this world on February 14, 2026 at the age of 72, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He is survived by: his wife Wendy Robinson; and his children, Heidie Moon (Rollie), David Simmons (Amy), Thayne Simmons, Wade Simmons (Valli), Hope Kendall (Jake), Holly Warner-Gill (Steve), Valerie Parker (Kyle) and Shad Simmons (Sadee). He is also survived by 33 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
