He was predeceased by: his former wife Iraida; and his daughter Maria. He is survived by: his wife Olga Vedina; his grandchildren, Benjamin and Julia Williams; his stepdaughter Anna Vedina (Kostadin Damevski); and his stepgrandchildren, Sasha and Ivan Damevski.
Since their passing, he has been consistently contributing to the causes of Alzheimer's and Lymphoma, which took the lives of his two family members prematurely.
