He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira J McIntosh and Florence Adelle Yorgason McIntosh; his in-laws, John and Ruth Echevarria; and his siblings, Lavern Shanor (Don), Gertrude Vogelsberg (Cliff), Byrne (Jill), Gordan (Shirley), Gene, Iris Lunt (Richard), Robert (Carol), Duane (Rita), Ira Udell (Kay), Donald and Eleanor Bates (Cloyd).
He is survived by: his wife L. Jean Echevarria; and his children, Janet, Michael (Sundee), Lori Le (Hau), Joni Smith (Brian) and Jeni Griffith. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and hundreds of cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws, and dear friends that he considered as much family as his blood relatives.
He was incredibly generous with his time and resources, whether serving in the church, fixing vehicles for neighbors, friends, and family, donating money to several charities, or babysitting his grandchildren.
