He is survived by: his wife Leah Gifford; his brother Robert "Bob" Wayne Gifford; and his children, Terah Lorraine Johnson (Eric), Benjamin Gifford (Gina Mendenhall), Matthew Wayne Gifford (Toni Michelle Cook), Dinah Alice Valencia, Samuel Jack "Jackson" Gifford (Sandra Elizabeth Munoz) and Sarah Lynn Abarca (Carlos Abarca). He is also survived by 24 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren.

Viewing will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 9:45 AM to 10:45 AM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Mapleton 23rd Ward Building (1050 N 300 W, Mapleton, UT 84664).
